Most known for his works on the public road signs it is possible to see his art in a big part of the European capitals but also in the US and Taiwan. His choice to play cards on the table, without hiding his identity but rather claiming the importance of his interventions make him well known for the legal battles in which he was (and is) involved.

Title: Break Free

Medium: Ink on paper

Size: 65x50 cm

Edition 1/1

Year: 2021

Value: NOK 11.000,- Bidding starts at 5000,-

Artist bio:Charles Leval, known as LEVALET, was born in 1988 in Epinal. He grew up in Guadeloupe, where he had his first contact with urban culture and then visual arts. He continued his studies of visual arts in Strasbourg; his work, then more turned to video, feeds on a theatrical practice. He obtained the aggregation (a competitive examination for civil service in the French public education system) in 2012, the year when his work began to take place in the streets of Paris and elsewhere.

Levalet’s work is above all a work of drawing and installation. He stages his characters drawn in Indian ink in the public space, in a game of visual and semantic dialogue with the present environment. The characters interact with the architecture and unfold in situations often bordering on the absurd.

Title: GREEN PEAKS (From his Mountain Collection)

Medium: Acrylic on Canvas

Size: 80x70 cm

Edition: 1/1

Year: 2022

Value: NOK 13000,- Bidding starts at NOK 3000,-

Artist bio: TEN is the nickname of Riccardo Colombo, Italian street artist.

His approach to street art comes after his academic studies in visual communication, printing, technical drawing and painting. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts with a thesis “Urbanerestyling”.

Riccardo investigates the nature of colour and the type of messages it conveys to the observer. Contrast between pure colours, complementary colours, light and shade, warm and cold tones: all these elements are the starting point ofor the development of a distinctive technique.

TEN tries to dismantle and rebuild his subjects taken from the animal world by breaking them up into simple geometric shapes: a combination of cold and geometrical forms and living subjects.

In the world we live in, animals are modeled and used to meet human needs. They lose their main feature of “linving being” to become food and semi industrial products. In a similar way, the artist dismantle the animal realistisc represnetation to create a cold and geometrical figure which still maintains the expressive force and the nature of the beast.

Ten studies the boundaries between abstract and realistic painting, questioning the line of demarcation between these two worlds; when and how technical drawing - made of lines. angles and rules - turns into painting, starting to interfere with the observer and producing new feeling.

Title: Treblement
Medium: Oil and acrylics on canvas
Size: 50x61 cm
Edition: 1/1
Year: 2018
Value: NOK 7000,- Bidding starts at NOK 3500,-

Artist bio: Kogaone is a French artist based in Metz, France. His works touch the viewer’s spirit with their dark irony, varied palettes and unusual or even disturbing combinations, in a style between geometric abstraction and photorealism.
Attentive observer of his contemporaries and their often contradictory natures, he explores the alteration, the paradox, the embarrassment that arise when the familiar is deformed or fractured by external influences.
He denatures a scene of life, moves or distorts fragments, or combines / opposes photorealism to a freer and expressionist painting. He plays with the notion of realism that he distends to abstraction. These contrasting ideas are then fixed, under the brush, in a transcendental and definitive visual unit. It is a way of discovering and accepting the singular beauty that is revealed in hesitation, unfinished and imperfection

and spends most of his time working there, although he never
stopped working in his studio too. WD has participated in festivals and
exhibitions in Asia, Europe and the Americas while his work is featured in
Street Art books worldwide.
His EastWest sociocultural background is combined in a unique way that
makes his style particularly recognisable. WD focuses on large-scale murals
created with roller brushes and acrylic paints, and always interacts with the
spot where he is working by incorporating various elements of it into his
work, so there is harmony between the mural and the spot where it was
painted. His work - 3D anamorphic with optical illusions - is influenced by
Comics, Graphic Novels and Fantastic Art, while he mainly gets inspired by
social phenomena, lifestyle, art or nature.
What he loves most about painting in the street is the unique freedom of
expression and the fact that Street Art is freely accessed by everyone
without social, economic, cultural or other limitations. Moreover through his
art has the chance to speak about the big issue of the re-appropriation of
Public Space. All this offsets the ephemeral nature of his art. After all, if he
was interested in making artworks that stand the test of time he would do
canvas paintings only. WD is currently based in Athens, Greece.
