Manifold Editions is delighted to launch our new publication by Marc Quinn: a series of six new unique, hand-painted Iris editions, titled Chorus Wave Radiation and Solar Storms.
For Marc Quinn, the iris fuses abstraction and figuration, body and universe. Describing the iris as “a leakage of the vivid interior world of the body to the monochrome world of the skin”, Quinn’s gestural overpainting in these unique editions encapsulates the energy expended in the painting process. Quinn works by placing the print on the floor, using the motion of his body to fling acrylic paint across the surface. The iris is energy, the mirror to the soul, a microscopic map. Quinn considers the eyes to be our “doors of perception… the link between us and the world”, likening human connectivity to the universe itself.

For those of you looking to purchase one of the new David Shrigley prints, ‘Extract The Juice from Everything’ will be released on Wednesday 18th January at the London Art Fair on the mezzanine floor. Anyone wishing to purchase will be directed by Jealous and fair staff on the day of the release.
Sales are limited to one print per person and will be available on a first come first served basis, with no pre-sales or reservations permitted. Please refer to Terms 10 & 11 on our website for information regarding the reselling of prints from the edition - when purchasing this product you are agreeing to all of the Terms and Conditions listed on our website.

Kan ikke huske å ha sett disse her, men Unge Kunstneres Samfunn (UKS) har en kampanje for å samle inn penger til deres nye lokaler. De er utrolig viktige for norske kunstnere og absolutt noe vi på Kunstveggen burde støtte. AK Dolven blir den første nålevende norske kunstneren som skal ha en solo utstilling på Nasjonalmuseet.
