Michael Armitage’s Vision II is the first artist print to be released for Turner Contemporary Editions. It has been printed by Counter Studio and marks the beginning of a new collaborative relationship between Counter Editions and the Turner.
Turner Contemporary Editions will raise vital funds to support the gallery’s charitable work. Michael Armitage says: “I am thrilled to be the first artist to make a print for Turner Contemporary Editions, and to have worked with Counter Editions in their Margate print studio to create Vision II. Turner Contemporary supports artists at pivotal moments in their careers and works with thousands of children and young people each year through their learning programme. The sales from Turner Contemporary Editions will help to support this work with communities in Margate and across Kent in the years ahead.”
