Counter Editions is delighted to launch Cloudy Legs with Scrambled Sky (2022), a new limited edition print by Anthea Hamilton. 100% of net proceeds are being donated to Open School East, a crucial contributor to Margate’s cultural landscape.
Cloudy Legs with Scrambled Sky (2022) showcases one of Hamilton’s best-known motifs, the artist’s own legs. Here, suspended in mid air and silhouetted against a scrambled view of the sky, they evoke notions of a contrived ideal that is both virtual and almost dreamlike.
The print has been produced in Counter Editions Margate studio, is a 7 colour screenprint and has been signed, titled, numbered and dated by the artist on the reverse.
