THE HOUR OF THE GHOST is the latest print from Stanley Donwood available from The Lost Domain. This edition is a timed release that will be available to order on August 10th from 18:00 UTC/GMT+1 for the following 48 hours.
15% of the profit from this print will go to FREEDOM FROM TORTURE, registered charity which provides therapeutic care for survivors of torture who seek protection in the UK.
The Lost Domain has been established to offer a series of prints by Stanley Donwood. These prints will all be the same size, the same price, and will have an edition size dependent on demand; therefore each print will be available to purchase for a period of 48 hours, and the edition size will reflect the number of people who would like a print, rounded up to a pleasing number such as 20, or 50, or 100 and so on.
‘The Lost Domain’ or ‘Le Grand Meaulnes’ is the title of the only book by Alain-Fournier, who was killed during the first month of the First World War. It is a strange novel, about the hopelessness of longing for the unobtainable.

About Tania Marmolejo
b.1975 Dominican Republic. Dominican-American artist Tania Marmolejo’s mixed Scandinavian-Caribbean heritage plays a large role in her work, often depicting female characters torn between two opposing forces such as hesitation/seduction, fear/determination, as well as cultural and physical divides, as a means of expressing the dual and opposing cultural influences present in her development as a woman and artist. Her process is completely expressionistic and impulsive, not sketching beforehand and working directly on the canvas-juxtaposing the intimate and personal on a monumental scale.Tania’s intention with her bold, arresting characters is to convey ambiguous yet intense expressions that the viewer may appropriate as their own, creating strong affective and emotional empathy as a form of subliminal communication on the female experience.
Payment
To ensure a smooth and secure transaction, we exclusively accept payments via wire transfer only. The full payment for the work must be completed within three days from the invoice date and shall be made under the name in the invoice. As per the terms of our invoice contract, the Payment should be net of all wire fees, paid by the sender: ALL TRANSFERS ARE REQUIRED TO USE SWIFT INSTRUCTION CODE “OUR” FOR DETAIL OF CHARGES, not SHA. If the Sender’s bank fails to comply with our requirement, the Purchaser agrees to send the remaining balance due.
Draw Release
During draw releases, we randomly select buyers on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure that everyone who enters has an equal chance of acquiring the artwork from the release date. To enter the draw, all you need to do is provide your name and unique email address via the registration form on the limited edition page before the upcoming closing date, running quickly in high demand of artwork. Once you confirm your registration, we will get in touch with you if you are selected as the winner. If you win, you must promptly pay the specified amount stated during the draw entry, as provided in the confirmation email for the invoice. Additionally, you will need to accept a non-resale agreement, and we will require a signed copy of the invoice contract in return. In the event that you win but are unable to make the payment via wire transfer within three days, we will conduct another draw and select a new winner. Please note that only one draw entry is allowed per person.
Orders and Shipping
All orders will be dispatched within a timeframe of 2 to 3 weeks once the payment is received in full and connected immediately to our official designated shipper, TNL DASAN ART Co., Ltd. Each work is carefully shipped in two custom-made cardboard boxes: one for the inner lining and one for the outer lining. We ensure the safe arrival of all prints by shipping them flat in bespoke packaging. Additionally, a certificate of authenticity (where applicable) is placed inside the box. Shipping labels and customs documents are affixed to the exterior, which is secured in a cardboard box (shipping fee included). You have the option to choose from various shipping methods through our official designated shipper, TNL DASAN ART Co., Ltd., along with carefully selected fine art shipping companies. This ensures that your work arrives in perfect condition, and all necessary paperwork is accurately prepared for shipment overseas, including DHL Courier or pick up and release from our Paju storage in Korea. Shipping fees are calculated based on the weight, volume, and delivery address of your purchase. The buyer is responsible for shipping, customs duties, and taxes.
