Important information on bidding!
If you want to bid on the art in the Street art for Palestine auction, here is the information you need. We have two rounds of bidding on the art in the auction.
Round 1:
The first round takes place on our facebookpage @Gatekunst for Palestina. Bidding in the first round open Monday November 21st at 19:00 (GMT +1), and ends on Friday November 25th at 19:00 (GMT+1).
In this round, all bids must be made on our facebook-page in Norwegian kroner (NOK). Place your bid as a comment under the artwork you want to bid on (remember to use the “all comments”-function, so you are sure you see the most recent bid). If you want to make an anonymous bid, you can contact us on messenger, and we post the bid on your behalf.
Round 2:
Round two of the auction takes place at Smien in Laksevåg, Bergen, Norway on Saturday November 26th at 19:00 (GMT+1). If you can’t be there, you can follow the auction by streaming it live on Zoom, and bid in the stream chat (see link to the zoom-meeting at the bottom of this post).
We will also offer bidders to participate on telephone, or we can arrange bidding by proxy*. If you are interested in this, contact us on the messenger chat by Saturday November 26th at 17:00 (GMT+1).
In the auction round two, we will announce the highest bid in the digital auction, and ask for higher bids. If no one bids before the hammer falls, the highest bid from round 1 is the winner.
Prior to the opening on Monday, we will post a lot-list, with the artworks in the order we will auction them off. This lot-list will be available on our facebook-page and on our Instagram-page. It will then be updated with the highest bid from round 1 by Saturday Nov. 26th at 18:00 (GMT+1), and will be posted on our facebookpage and on our instagram.

All bids are binding! And remember that on bids at NOK 2000,- or higher, there will be an art tax of 5% added to the winning bid.
