Vi gjorde det annerledes denne gangen. I stedet for Ă„ varsle lanseringen pĂ„ forhĂ„nd slapp vi det “kaldt” (les: umiddelbart tilgjengelig) ut i dag tidlig kl. 9 pĂ„ nyhetsbrevet og kl 12 pĂ„ sosiale medier. Da det er tilfeldig hvem som ser nyheten fĂžrst og vi slipper F5-kamp pĂ„ slippdagen, sĂ„ vi ville prĂžve dette.

Ca. halve opplaget har gÄtt de fÞrste 5 timene i tillegg til noen utvalgte, tidligere kunder som fikk forhÄndskjÞpe. Jeg ser at bare halvparten av antallet som vanligvis Äpner nyhetsbrevet har gjort det. SoMe har sÄ vidt begynt Ä rulle. Mange har enda ikke fÄtt med seg nyheten.

Ang. timingen handler det om at verket er knyttet opp mot skuespillet som har urpremiere 11. mai. Ang. pris er det pÄ samme nivÄ som tidligere opplag i denne stÞrrelsen.

Er det bare meg eller er Avant Arte i ferd med Ă„ gjĂžre seg selv en bjĂžrnetjeneste med alle disse lanseringene? Og mange av dem open editions. De pleide vĂŠre et kvalitetsstempel - men er kanskje i ferd med Ă„ bli litt GP?

Da er dette trykket tilbake pÄ markedet. Ikke med den rÞffe murbakgrunnen som tidligere opplag, men blÄtt og grÞnt.

StÞttes helt. Veldig bra Aaron Johnson trykk, lavt opplag, hÞy kvalitet og fin pris. Men har ikke kjÞpt av Avant Arte selv pÄ mange Är. Generelt blitt latterlige priser, open editions, dÄrlige valg av motiv osv.

New sculpture from RYOL available next Friday

We’re excited to officially announce a new polystone sculpture edition with RYOL (aka Ryo Laksamana) that will be available on Friday, May 19 via our web shop.

“This My Stone Age Mark” will be a total edition of 200, made up of five color ways that will each be an edition of 40. Available in Red, Purple, Baby Blue, Yellow and Dark Blue - the figure’s paint splat shaped weighted bases as well as the transparent resin spray blasts coming out of each can that the figure holds, along with the hand sprayed stencil on each custom engraved wooden box, will all match the colorway theme. Each box for each color, also features a different stencil image. This edition has really had so much love put into it.

These came out simply amazing. The team at Pretty In Plastic did an incredible job bringing RYOL’s vision to life and we are so excited to share them with you all.
