I am very excited to be releasing my first ever tondo print. Both Ends is by far my most ambitious print to date with even more strides taken to create all the colors of the actual painting and the feel of old school comic printing though hand pulled silkscreen. With the CMYK process and spot colors, we were able to achieve 42 optical colors in this print.

ABOUT THE WORK
Paul Wackers paints with the tradition of the still life in mind. Window ledges and shelving units busy with potted plants, colorful vessels, and abstract knicknacks fill his compositions, which seem to vibrate with the activity of someone’s everyday routine. In Grow in Place and In the Waiting Room , Wackers focuses this ability to distill order from the chaos of a flower arrangement - capturing the levity of a field in motion to contrast the tightly cropped interior space of each two-toned backdrop.
