I hope that you are all doing well - (as well as can be expected I guess).
A massive thank you to everyone that made the release of âDefianceâ such a great success, and thanks to all of you that continue to keep in contact on a regular basis.
In âlock-downâ I always enjoy receiving and reading your mails and getting your pictures.
I do get a lot of emails pointing out that there is never enough content on the store - this is because you beautiful people keep buying itâŠ, which I MASSIVELY appreciate! but yeah, I get it - thereâs nothing worse than browsing an empty store.
So⊠with my new print: âIn The Wingsâ, Iâll be staggering the release over the next few days/weeks or so - making it a nice steady release and therefore there should always be something for you to pick up and plenty of reason to keep checking back. To give all my customers a fair chance at getting something that they like - Iâll be making batches available at different times of the day! Best thing to do is keep checking the store - if thereâs one you like - check the product description and it will tell you when it is due to go live.
I also get told off for not posting enough on Instagram! I know, I know - my bads!!! So what Iâll try and do is post some of these on IG prior to release - so itâll be a little heads-up for all of you on IG that continue to follow me!
âIn The Wingsâ
These âprintsâ are more like âpaintingsâ each one is very unique and hand-finished to within an inch of itâs life - hopefully there will be a colour-way come up that you like. So keep checking in! They are printed on 360gsm Ispira âMisteroâ stock from Fedrigoni - this is a âsuper-duty-toughâ stock which is ideal for making the colours pop and sturdy enough to handle the many layers of paint in the wings. They are A2 size (420 x 594 mm approx) - 4 printed colours (black and 3 shimmering silvers) - edition of 50 (with an additional extended edition of 20 proofs). See store for full spec. HERE
Hey - why so many proofs?..
Thatâs right! - more than the usual 10% of proofs - the reason for this is that mid-way through the printing process I noticed a slight mark on the paper - maybe caused during manufacturing or shipping. Dunno, but there were already some killer-colour-ways going on - and I didnât want to throw them out for the sake of a little mark that will disappear once framed-up! Instead - theyâre gonna be labelled up as AP (edition of 20 and made available alongside the âeditionâ prints - but at a slightly reduced price.
Iâve uploaded the first batch to store HERE, Iâll make some more available later in the day. Then more batches over the weekend and next week until they are all up.
