Ønsker verdivurdering av dette maleriet av Th. Brynhildsen

Maleriet er 90 x 60 cm inkl. ramme

Ser at det tidligere har blitt aksjonert bort en samling av 21 bilder av forskjellige kunstnere til 500 kroner.

https://www.skanfil.no/LotDetail?l=LOT/907513

Bildet har nok ingen stor komersiell verdi.

Ser også at det er noen som prøver å selge et annet bilde av Th. Brynhildsen til over 200 000 men det må vel sies å være en del av dårlige kjøp tråden.

Har også sett Finn annonsen:joy::joy:

Sliter selv😀mvh Audun

Takk for svar:+1::wink:

Hi. My name is Chris and i live in the UK. I also have an oil painting on canvas approximately 100cm x 72cm by Th Brynhildsen which was given to my grandfather by the artist himself during the occupation of Norway, if my family knowledge is correct. I am interested to learn more about this artist and if anyone can give me any information about him that would be great. I can only speak English so i hope this message will be translated!

To Chris. Are you still on this forum? I might have info regarding the artist. Please reply here.

Regards,
Harald

Hi. Yes i am still here. It has been 2 years since i posted the message. I am happy to get a response. I would love to learn about the painting i have.

Hi! The artist is Thoralf Brynhildsen, father of my uncle. He lived in Oslo, was born around the turn of the century, and I believe he died in the early 70’s. I have two of his paintings, and pictures of some more (mostly from ads on finn.no, online classified ads). Could you please share a picture of your painting?

Regards, Harald

Hi. That’s very kind of you to contact me. That picture has been with my family long before I was born. It was given to my grandfather, Eugene Martinsen, by your grandfather. My mother was from Drammen. She told me that the painting was given to my grandfather by the artist for payment for something that he did for him. I couldn’t tell you anything more about that. I was told my grandfather, who I only have a few memories of, was quite the man and had 5 boats and did a lot of smuggling during the war and occupation of Norway, sometimes smuggling soldiers and resistance. That is the full extent of my knowledge. Did you show the image to your father? If you would like a better one, please let me know. :grin:
