Named one of the most fascinating artists in America by Galerie magazine, Buckwalter is known for domestic scenes that adorn the flattened style of Pennsylvania Dutch folk art with hallmarks of contemporary life.
Rendered with luxurious color and meticulous detail, Buckwalter’s new edition of 40 prints is brought to life with hand-painted gouache, spot varnish, and silkscreen on smooth fabric paper. Miscellaneous objects strewn across the bed encourage us to consider connections between beauty, sensuality, pleasure, and pain. Look closer, and a few unexpected secrets are found hiding in plain sight.

For 2024/2025, we couldn’t be more excited and proud to announce that the Supergabe is an edition by Rebecca Ackroyd, who recently opened opened her exhibition Mirror Stage, as part of the Venice Biennale. Her works delve into subtle examinations of human bodies, memory of the subconscious, and dimensions of sexuality in space. She synthesizes elements of abstraction and figuration into a coherent but enigmatic language, often materialized in complex installations and body-like sculptures.
